Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and relevant responsible experience is required. Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel, Counseling or related field and a minimum of 3-5 years full-time experience in residence hall administration is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of budget planning and fiscal operations. Excellent oral and written communication as well as planning abilities. Basic understanding of social media is desired. Proven supervisory experience. Knowledge and understanding of student issues in higher education.
Additional Comments Regarding Position
Required to be on 24/7 on-call rotation. Evening and weekend work may be necessary when not on-call. Some travel will be required.

1. Develops and maintains strong collaborative partnerships with campus colleagues to ensure strong residential
community
support of student learning. Leads several residential activities that enhance the personal development of students, including a focus on academic progress, awareness of self, and awareness of others; there will be approximately 6 major programs throughout the academic year and several in collaboration with campus and community partners. Addresses diversity issues through the promotion of educational programs. Ensures student participation in department decision making and leadership of activities related to their residential and campus community through the Residence Hall Association and Hall Governments. Coordinates campus wide and community support to assist with the residence hall move in weekend activities.
