Your Responsibilities
The Bosch Mechatronics Apprenticeship is a full-time training program at the Charleston facility. Mechatronics is a multi-craft program that combines mechanical and electrical skills and knowledge. The duration is 30 months which consists of Bosch skills training, on the job mentoring, and classroom instruction from Trident Technical College. Associate will be responsible for successful completion of project work and classroom training related to but not limited to: Automated Controls, Industrial Mechanics and CNC Machining and Fundamentals. Certificates from Trident Technical College and Department of Labor will be earned. Apprentices are trained for open skilled labor positions based on business needs.
Your competencies and qualifications
Be 18 years old or older and have a high school diploma or GED. Must be eligible to apply and attend Trident Technical College. Must have taken multi-craft aptitude test with a minimum score of 31. Taken the COMPASS Exam at TTC with the minimum scores: Reading: 61, Writing: 61, and Algebra: 45. Applicants must be able to perform all physical duties of a Skilled Labor Associate (i.e. heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, twisting, reaching). Must be willing and able to work any shiftEOE Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/DisabledEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
