Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in subject area, and/or teaching endorsement in respective area and one year successful teaching experience at middle school, high school or college level. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required along with effective classroom management skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience working with underrepresented youth preferred. Familiarity with SAT and ACT standardized testing a plus.
Additional Comments Regarding Position
Four-week summer program (June 9th - July 3rd).
Work hours Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

### Job Duties
Activity
The instructor is responsible for developing and administering an engaging appropriate curriculum for three separate classes of rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders in conjunction with program staff. It is anticipated that instruction will be largely based around ACT and/or SAT prep for upperclassmen with appropriate materials provided, in addition to assisting students in preparing for the following year's math curriculum. Teachers are expected to evaluate students on at least a weekly basis and give work which will be turned in for grades to assess student effort and progress.
