The Data Integration Manager supervises a team responsible for writing business requirements, writing design specifications, managing map development and performing testing with the client. As the Manager of the team, you will be responsible for designating associates to work through standard and custom solutions, monitoring progress, and serving as an escalation for complex projects. In addition to implementation, the Data Integration team also consists of production support. The Data Integration Manager is responsible for monitoring this production activity and ensuring that all SLAs are met. As a Manager at Benefitfocus you will be working in a very dynamic environment. Our projects have many moving pieces that must all be coordinated to ensure that our clients' requirements are met. You will be consistently coordinating with our Project Management and Implementation teams on timelines and prioritization.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Implements checks and balances to ensure all discovery steps required for success have been completed Track testing and client activity Coordinate project responsibilities and maintain implementation timelines Extensive coordination and collaboration with the various Benefitfocus teams throughout the product delivery process. Creation and execution of the discovery schedule Providing guidance and advice on core and custom solutions designed to address employer payroll needs Provide status reports on all projects Provide leadership and support to a team of 5-8 associates JOB REQUIREMENTS BA/BS degree required At least 3 years of experience supervising and coaching a team of Data Analysts or similar teams Experience in a Business Analyst role writing business requirements and design specifications for highly customizable software applications preferred Experience with payroll or EDI integration preferred Expertise in working with large scale payroll systems a plus A proven track record in Project Management, Client Management and Business Application Implementation preferred Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment preferred Knowledge of technical development and SDLC methodologies preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding Strong sense of ownership, urgency and accountability to drive tasks through completion Adaptability to change: aggressively tackles new challenges Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills: diplomatic, professional and composed
