Prep Supervisor for Full-Service Scratch Kitchen

Requirements:
Ability to always be on time Ability to read recipes and measure ingredients Basic math skills Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, procedures, and equipment Familiar with food and beverage industry's best practices Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
and work on one's feet for up to 12 hours Proficiency with knife skills ServSafe training preferred General knowledge and ability to use computers, tablets, apps etc.
including Microsoft Office, POS, and any other software used to complete job tasks Organizational and multi-tasking abilities Ability to manage crisis in a calm and effective manner Fortitude to effectively receive feedback Teamwork-oriented and able to take direction Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
Labels and stocks prepped items per DHEC code Labels and stocks receivables from purveyors Prepares stocks and sauces according to par sheet Butchers proteins Assists on pantry/hot line when needed Complies with all health and safety rules and regulations Sets up and breaks down prep stations each shift Executes assigned tasks accurately and with a sense of urgency Maintains a clean and orderly kitchen in accordance with DHEC to ensure an A rating Rotates all perishable items per FIFO Follows recipes and measures ingredients Writes station prep lists off standard part Job Type:
