Our Environmental team is a multidisciplinary team of ecologists, engineers, scientists, project managers, and attorneys working together to identify optimum environmental solutions for our clients.
We have provided environmental consulting services in support of projects for over 40 years including a diverse and growing mix of infrastructure projects such as power generation (conventional and renewable) and transmission, oil and gas facilities and pipelines, water and wastewater treatment facilities, data centers, and food and beverage industries.
As a full-service environmental consulting practice, services include impact assessment and planning, regulatory compliance and permitting, wetland and floodplain analysis, waterbody and water quality assessment, air quality permitting and management, environmental remediation, site due diligence, environmental noise assessment, pollution prevention planning, and climate action solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Operate both independently and as part of a team in providing critical support to our clients in environmental compliance planning, environmental permitting, and environmental review services.
Perform in both a technical role executing and leading projects as well as a client-focused role fostering relationships and coordinating with clients to identify and plan project priorities.

The Air Sciences Specialist will lead and support completion of tasks associated with air permitting compliance and overall environmental compliance, with a large focus on industrial facilities.
Prior experience with environmental compliance reporting and environmental data management for large, complex facilities will be necessary to assist industrial clients with transforming and automating environmental compliance requirements by way of enhanced data acquisition systems.

Leading and performing regulatory reviews of federal and state performance standards for industrial processes and be comfortable working with facility personnel to improve processes related to compliance obligations.
Prior experience with programs including but not limited to greenhouse gas reporting, annual emission inventories, CERCLA, and TRI reporting preferred.

Leading and supporting development of proposals and project execution plans including project scopes, schedules, and budgets.

Assisting project and program managers in leading and coordinating teams in the execution of projects, including ensuring team members understand their task(s), providing guidance on approach and methods, and performing quality control reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering or sciences, atmospheric science, meteorology, strongly preferred.
May also consider other degrees, specialized training, or experience that uniquely qualifies the individual to perform the job responsibilities.

Proven success leading and providing strategic environmental consulting for industrial clients, power generation clients, oil & gas clients, water and wastewater treatment clients, and/or municipalities.

Prior experience with GHG reporting, emission inventories, CERCLA, TRI reporting.

Must be able to research and interpret federal, state and local regulations.

Experience managing air permitting compliance within an industrial facility (with prior experience with pulp and paper mills advantageous).

Experience with implementation and/or use of data acquisition systems and managing high volumes of data.

Highly-developed critical thinking skills with proven problem-solving capabilities.

Experience leading teams in completing projects accurately, on-time, and on-budget.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to balance multiple projects while working under tight deadlines.

Strong technical writing abilities.
Minimum Qualifications A minimum total of 8 years of related work experience is typically necessary to move into this level.
Graduate work may count as related work experience if directly applicable to job function.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
