Job Description - Director, Operations Planning Summary of
Responsibilities:
- Coaches through implementation and sustainment of field operational initiatives, processes, and programs.
Leverage time in assigned regions/districts to consult and influencing sustained behavioral change and desired outcomes.
- Manages field regional priorities by utilizing project management skills and developing cross functional teams to support the assigned regional operations directors and vice president of operations.
- Serves as point person for all stores communication & updates from various departments of the store support center office teams.
- Executes change management and sustainment plans for critical business initiatives.
Works closely with other field implementation managers to share best practices and business plans.
- Manages the assigned regions implementation calendar by integrating corporate programs/rollouts, regional plans, and preparing specific projects for implementation.
- Maintains cross-functional relationships through communication between the various departments involved, ensuring accountability around roles and responsibilities.
- Oversees operational planning to support operational execution of tests and rollouts of promotional and non- promotional programs and projects in the assigned region to ensure intended results and behaviors are achieved and sustained.
Tracks and measures success of programs and initiatives in assigned market.
- Serves as lead point person for acquisition/integrations training and coordination within the new market for the full immersion cycle, precut over, cut over, and post cut over training from multiple departments.
- Participates in working sessions with corporate headquarters (HDQ) based operation teams to identify new and improved processes, points of integration, and methods to meet business objectives.
- Prepares long-term plans for improving process and communication support of field operations.
- Provides specific operational input and feedback into the development of new products & programs based on field operations observations and needs to ensure successful execution at the highest level.
- Represent regional directors' perspective by identifying field problems and identifying solutions for market problems and funneling large scale problems to corporate HDQ based functional teams.
Operate as subject matter expert (SME) to the assigned regions on key initiatives and programs.

Core Requirements:
- 3-5 years of field District Manager experience or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of project management experience at the multi-unit/division level.
- Highly proficiency in Office/PowerPoint/Power PI/Excel.
- C-store or retail industry experience preferred but not required.
- Position is based in North Charleston, SC; market rides to target locations as necessary.
- Reports to the Vice President of Operations.
