This position of varying experience and functions is in support of a diverse technical team supporting major Naval Messaging programs (e.
g.
, C2OIX) of the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic.
Successful candidates will perform installation, integration, modification, configuration, validation of multiple test suites and operational units found in this Department of Defense (DoD) program.
We are seeking motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented systems experts to join our growing team and collaborate on solving technical challenges while interfacing directly with our customers.
Pay Range:
$83,571 to $144,646, depending on experienceYou Will:
Provide oversite/guidance to system administrators across the globe to ensure optimal system performance.
Provide engineering and technical analysis integral to the upgrades/modifications to Naval Messaging systems.
Provide in-depth research and analysis of issues.
Provide in-depth knowledge and technical expertise in the areas of design, installation, maintenance, and support of multiple operating systems and technologies, including but not limited to creating, reviewing, troubleshooting, and/or implementing component/system configurations and security policies to achieve system objectives and comply with DoD mandates.
Respond to service requests and Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
Interface directly with software developers and stakeholders to ensure changes satisfy objectives documented in related Software Change Proposals (SCP), while assisting in the generation of necessary release documentation (e.
g.
, test cases/plans/reports, administration manual or SOP modifications, etc.
) Prepare technical briefs to present to engineering and/or government review teams.
Ensure system configurations and procedures are well documented.
You Have:
US Citizenship The ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Top Secret Level Security Clearance Extensive knowledge of Naval Messaging systems and policies/procedures Demonstrated ability to effectively install, configure and administer in a multi-system and/or multi-application environment.
Experience working with Windows Server 2016 and 2019 as well as Active Directory.
Experience building and maintaining virtual hosting infrastructure and virtual machines based on VMWare ESX.
Knowledge in compliance with current DoD Information Assurance policies and implementing STIG's.
Strong customer relations, documentation and oral communication skills Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and commitment to quality Ability to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities A passion for learning about, and working in, the IT industry BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related computer field, or High School Diploma or GED with appropriate work experience Ten (10) years of experience in Navy C4ISR Afloat and Ashore programs to include:
Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of Navy C4ISR Ashore and Afloat requirements.
Five (5) years of technical experience in support of Naval Messaging Projects.
One of the following certifications will be required within 1.
5 years of assuming duties:
Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM), Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) Candidate must satisfy requirements of DoD 8570.
01-M for IAT Level II within six (6) months of assuming duties.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
