20 an hour Qualifications MUST HAVE Criminal Justice experience Civil litigation experience Demonstrated ability to utilize law library resources and working knowledge of legal research tools to include proficiency in Microsoft software, Westlaw, and LexisNexis Ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure Demonstrated outstanding legal writing skills Outstanding oral communication skills Ability to consistently deliver high quality work under strict time constraints Standard office procedures, methods and proficiency in office/ computer equipment, email, internet search engines Associate Degree; a minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience U.

Citizenship and a 7 to 10 year minimum background investigation Responsibilities Creates and maintains an investigative or discovery log; Reviews investigative and discovery responses for completeness and compliance with request; Assists in preparation of subpoenas; Assists in document review and preparation for witness interviews, depositions, hearings, mediations, presentations; Verifies citations and legal references on prepared legal documents; Prepares summaries of testimony and depositions; Drafts and edits legal and non-legal memoranda to include requisite administrative forms and documents, standard motions such as for request for extension, research reports, and correspondence relating to civil cases; Place of Performance It is anticipated that much of the work assigned under this contract will be performed at the U.

Off-site performance of work or telework may be permitted dependent upon the management team and CO written approval.
Duty Hours Most shifts will fall between 9am and 2:
30pm, Monday through Friday.
Hours may fluctuate depending on trial appearances.
Expected hours will be 40 hours per week.
