Responsibilities:
As a Quality Control Manager, you will:
1.
Oversee all quality control operations, ensuring all activities comply with necessary regulations and standards.
2.
Develop, implement, and manage the quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals.
3.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the quality control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and mutual respect.
4.
Manage subcontractors, ensuring all parties adhere to quality standards, and effectively addressing any issues or discrepancies.
5.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
6.
Lead the investigation of any quality-related issues and develop strategies for resolution.
7.
Collaborate with project managers and senior management to determine quality control objectives and ensure project timelines are met.
8.
Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management, providing strategic recommendations when necessary.
9.
Manage government projects, ensuring all aspects meet specified quality standards and regulatory requirements.
10.
Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge, and preparedness across the organization to create a culture that prioritizes quality and high-performance.
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
2.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Control Manager in the engineering or construction industry.
3.
Demonstrated experience in managing quality control operations, subcontractors, and government projects.
4.
In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
5.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex transactions with little supervision.
6.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
7.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
8.
Proficiency in using quality control software and related technologies.
9.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10.
Certification in quality control is a plus.
