8D EH is a 13-bed inpatient adult acute med-surg unit open 24/7. 8D EH is designed to accommodate medical and surgical patients from general or family medicine service lines. The unit serves direct and new admissions coming into the hospital from the ED, post recovery or other inpatient units under the medical-surgical service lines with a variety of diagnoses.
