Qualifications:
Education:
o HS diploma or GED and accredited Configuration Management Certification
Experience:
o 3
years of experience in configuration management or logisticso Experience with performing functions, including Life Cycle Management and Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Verification and Audit, or Data Managemento Knowledge of the software release processo Knowledge of Configuration Management technology operating systems, including Windows, Sybase, or Oracle based products.
o Secret clearance Additional Quals Desired:
o 5
years of experience as a configuration manager supporting IT programs.
o Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
Job Description:
VNE is seeking a Configuration Manager to support the research & development, test and evaluation, fielding, documentation development, configuration management, software engineering and integration, training, fielding and sustainment, cybersecurity, and program management of United States Marine Corps Signals Intelligence programsLeverage modern configuration, application, and life cycle management tools and processes to maintain version control for hardware, software and documentationMaintain ownership of the project's Configuration Management Plan, facilitate Configuration Control Boards, and support the establishment of the Configuration Management LibraryProvide support for planning and producing a process for reporting and recording changes to installed baseline equipmentCoordinate the interaction between engineering, integration team, logistics, and program management to ensure appropriate changes are documentedEssential Duties of the Job:
o Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
o Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
o Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
o Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
