As Charleston's exclusive 100% Prime steakhouse, Grill 225 takes pride in featuring 100% USDA wet-aged Prime beef, representing less than 2% of beef graded in the United States.
Our commitment extends to an extensive seafood selection sourced from both local and international waters.
Position Details:
We are looking for a hands-on, energetic, and enthusiastic leader dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality, guest satisfaction, service, and cuisine.
This role involves overseeing operations at Grill 225, the Pavilion Bar, Cafe Pavilion, event operations, and room service, with collaborative efforts among fellow management.
Qualifications - Guest services-driven with a focus on attention to detail, warmth, and amiability.
- Proven work record with at least 1 year of continuous employment with a previous employer.
- Minimum 2 years of managerial or leadership experience in a restaurant, club/resort, or similar environment.
- Basic knowledge of wine and various liquors.
- Ability to supervise a staff of at least 20 people in an upscale, high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of technical service etiquette for American-style table service.
- Excellent computer skills, including reservation, employee management, communication, promotion, and marketing software systems.
Operational Skills:
- Guest service-oriented with an outgoing personality.
- Confident individual capable of holding staff accountable for company policy adherence.
- Emphasis on a teaching and mentoring philosophy for successful team management.
- Commitment to continuous personal and operational improvement.
- Good schedule flexibility with minimal restrictions.
Compensation:
- Pay ranges between $60,000.
