School Psychologist
Mason Preparatory School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and well-being of students. You will work closely with students, parents, and educators to provide counseling, and interventions to promote academic success and emotional development.

Duties:
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the academic and emotional growth of students.
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to students individually or in group settings - Implement evidence-based interventions to address social-emotional issues and behavioral challenges.
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior management strategies
- Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies or traumatic events.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment by overseeing and helping to implement the school wide Social Emotional Learning programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
- Collaborate with the Learning Specialist to review psychoeducational reports and learning plans.
- Organize and assist with scheduling and implementation of Standardized testing.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with Pre-K through elementary school aged individuals preferred
- Proficiency in assessing and creating Functional Behavior Assessments
- At least 5 years experience in public schools is preferred
