Description:
This individual will have lead client facing consulting responsibilities to include any engagement activity related to Program or Project Management, including schedule and risk and issue management. Additionally, this individual will offer consultative services helping the client realize their strategic business and technical objectives. The candidate will plan and coordinate the work efforts of multiple people in a matrix organization and across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities include:
o Experience in a lead role as the primary resource responsible for overall delivery (minimum 5
years of experience)
o Responsible for developing and executing activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and schedules, scoping and requirements through implementation, deployment, and closure
o Consulting / systems integration implementation experience (minimum 3
years of experience)
o Able to work effectively with all levels of staff (project and leadership teams as well as senior executives)
o Demonstrate leadership qualities necessary to lead client and internal project team work streams
o Desire working in a fast paced, high pressure environment
o Proven leadership skills and ability to direct and manage team members in a matrix environment
o Demonstrate the ability to examine all possible options when searching for a solution to a problem
o Proactively monitor and report on execution of deliverables through all project phases
o Excels at Client Relationship Management by identifying new opportunities and establishes and strengthens relationships with clients
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Excellent organizational skills: detail and deadline oriented
o Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
o Strong presentation skills
o Demonstrated success in negotiation skills
o Responsible to ensure overall quality of the project and act as the escalation point of contact
o Be able to clearly articulate status and possible solutions to various level of the internal and client organization
o Driven by results and find ways to overcome obstacles to achieve desired goal
o Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects and effectively prioritize
o Establish and track assignments for individuals and small teams
o Raise issues in a timely fashion and provides multiple alternatives to solve them and the associated impact.
Experience and Skills:
o Be able to articulate the value for each implementation
o Ability to build consensus in multi-stakeholder projects, and drive complex projects to successful completion on time and with the expected level of quality
o Ability to recognize and understand client business issues and guide solutions towards addressing the business issues
o Proven success with software implementations where you acted as the lead resource; implementations in a SaaS environment a plus
o 50% travel required
o PMP Certification an asset
o Proficient in Microsoft Project or some other Scheduling software
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT, and VISIO.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
