Summer Intern - Provider Network

An an AmeriHealth Caritas intern, you'll learn about the health care industry, our Medicaid and Medicare plans, and how we're working to improve access to health care for all Americans. You'll also join us in building healthy communities through active service projects like local playground builds and clothing drives.
Maintain filing system, create spreadsheets for analysts, review claim issues with analyst, and follow up on gathering State required documents from providers including re-contracts. Researching contracts and completing templates. Review directory materials.
Skills Desired:
Must be able to type and have knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications. Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and organizational skills.
Location: Charleston, SCEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
