Tool Engineer

Position Overview
Evaluates requirements and assists in developing tooling concepts and models. Creates and modifies simple tool designs and definitions. Assists with incorporating safety, ergonomic and regulatory requirements in tool designs. Develops moderately complex tool and equipment family and individual tool/equipment specification requirement documents. Assists with investigation of design engineering changes for impact to existing definition to maintain engineering configuration and initiates action. Works under general supervision.
Qualifications
Bachelor''s in Engineering from an accredited course of study: civil, mechanical, electrical, engineering technology, aerospace and manufacturing. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard and 2 or more years'' experience.
Composite Fabrication experience
Conditions of Employment
