POSITION SUMMARY
TRU Simulation Training has opportunities for students interested in pursuing a rewarding and challenging career in Manufacturing Engineering Intern.
Responsibilities:
o Coached and mentored by TRU Simulation Training engineering leadership.
o Gain technical foundation and acquire leadership skills, project management experience, and cross-functional process knowledge.
o Experience in developing and documenting key processes.
o Work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business.
o Potential leadership growth
o Manufacturing process improvements
o Operational Layouts and Process Flows
o Lean Manufacturing Implementation / Improvement
Education:
o Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in an engineering program
o GPA of 3.2 or higher
Position Requirements:
o Possess effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
o Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
o Possesses a strong desire for innovation.
o Detail and Team oriented.
o Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required.
