By Light is seeking an Engineering Technician II to join our team providing support to SPAWAR in Charleston, SC. Personnel hired for this position will perform work in support of Network Infrastructure Support.
Examples of work to be expected include:
o Layer 1-3 Network Support
o Solarwinds/VPN
o IOM/configure Juniper, Cisco and other devices
o Support Layer-2 switching rapid spanning-tree and VTP
o Support ACLs (Access Control Lists) and Layer 2 and 3 switching related to ACLs
o Perform packet analyzer SW pkgs
Associate's Degree in Engineering, Physical Science, or Engineering Technology and Three (3) years of practical experience, to include: laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance; OR High School Diploma/GED and Five (5) years of practical experience, to include: laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.
Must have at least three (3) years of the last (3) years of experience in the design, development and test and evaluation on various enterprise-level C4ISR requirements, programs and/or projects such as: Navy C4I systems, Navy ERP, USMC C4ISR, USMC ERP Navy Tactical Mobile Systems, or related computer systems, equipment and software including test and evaluation.
Must have demonstrable specific experience in designing, developing or testing systems or system components dealing with the following technology, disciplines and standards:
o (1) TCP/IP
o (2) Network MonitoringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
