SSC LANT's mission is to rapidly deliver and support solutions that enable information dominance for our nation's Naval, Joint, National and Coalition Warfighters. SSC LANT is headquartered in Charleston, SC with regional offices in New Orleans, LA; Tidewater, VA; Tampa, FL and other U.S. and abroad locations including: Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The qualified applicant will become part of TASC's support to SSC LANT's program and financial management requirements for numerous technical C5ISR programs that directly support our nation's warfighters.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide critical analysis of various aspects of C5ISR technical project implementation
Investigating and analyzing technical alternatives including COTS and other potential cost saving tools
Developing and managing critical technical paths in project schedules
Writing and implementing proposed technical action plans
Leading daily interactions with government technical personnel
Minimum
Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
BS degree in Engineering or Physical Science
Six (6) years of technical experience in support of task specific projects. Note: Experience may be concurrent.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred
Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Six (6) years of experience in relevant technical field, to include:
Systems Analysis Systems Architecture Systems/Equipment Support Test and Evaluation Logistics support of C5ISR requirements
Three (3) years of technical experience in support of C5ISR task specific project(s)
Working towards the following certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties:
Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP, Previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP)
Vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, MCSD)
Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD)
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
Sun Certified Professional (SCP)
Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP)
CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
