DAY TO DAY
Responsibilities:
oKnowledge of legal terms
oPerform legal research
oObtain information from law enforcement agencies, or other sources
oSubmit legal documents to court or agency
oOrganize and maintain case file
oMaintain case calendar (filing, hearing and trial dates, scheduling conferences, interviews)
oInterview clients and witnesses
oProfessional communication
oAssist in trial preparation (compile trial notebooks, jury instructions, witness/exhibit lists)
oCommunicate with opposing counsel regarding discovery, motions and interview dates
oComputer and savvy
oEnergetic and ready to change pace when needed
oTeam player with all staff.
