Adjunct Instructor - Medical Assisting

Under general supervision, plans and implements curriculum and educational programs for students within the program. Communicates class content to students so that learning occurs, skills are developed, and students are motivated to learn and achieve their educational objectives.
For adjuncts, there is potential to be flexible with your working schedule, in regards to morning, afternoon and night class offerings.

Requirements:
Candidates should have one of the following: Diploma/Certificate, Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree. If a faculty member has a Diploma in Medical Assisting, they must have an Associate Degree or higher in a healthcare-related field.
Candidates must have one of the following current acceptable certifications; CMA, RMA, or CCMA when teaching the following classes: MEA1010, MEA1020, MEA1030 and MED1080.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of documented occupational experience in the area taught.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
