a search firm specializing in the lighting industry. We have positions at all levels with Architectural, commercial, Industrial, Residential, and Solid State Lighting fixture, lamp, and ballast manufacturers.
Our client is a leading global LED device manufacturer who is seeking an UV LED experienced technical product development/sales candidate with UV LED development/engineering experience to assume the role of:
Vice President of US Business Unit - Flexible location anywhere in USA
Vice President to work in all functional aspects of the UV Product Development. As a GM/VP of UV product development, GM/VP is responsible for direction and management of all UV LED application development, including market analysis, new market creation and product planning and support product launching. GM/VP will drive to establish and develop new strategies plan for new project and identify potential sales possibilities
Develops and executes overall coordinated, enterprise-wide corporate sales & marketing (STP, 7P, and etc.), development strategy, internally and externally
Identify the potential sales possibilities related to UV Application products
Finds various UV LED related products/ideas/market to expand market share
Establishes and manages sale & marketing/UV LED development strategy to obtain the market satisfaction and define the new clients/market and to meet KPI target in the UV LED application industry
Completes team building by securing engineers/expertise in industry
Supports sales activities efficiently by developing product and to make new market creation in early business stage
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result-driven, team oriented environment
Requirements
20
year's product development, sales and marketing or related experience
At least 7 years in one specific industry related Home appliances, Medical, Health, Bio instruments, Curing or UV LED related
Knowledge and experience in LED Package or LED application module/product development
Experience in new product planning and sales in UV Mercury lamp
Ability to plan and manage and both the strategic and operational level
Permitted to work in U.S.
Work in Asian HQ for 1 or 2weeks in a month is required
Domestic/international travel required

Preference
B.S. degree or equivalent (preferably Electrical/Mechanical or Chemical Engineering)
Fluent in English and some experience with corporate culture in Asia preferred
Additional consideration will be given to skills including: experience educating about LED Technology, product development, and international expertise.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
