Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-6 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-5. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-5 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
experience in program management support, providing guidance to all service personnel, appointment management and scheduling, procurement and reconciliations, maintaining accurate accounting and budget records, timekeeping, knowledge of book keeping/accounting, acquisitions and material management, timekeeping regulations and scheduling practices. Physical Requirements:
The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. Work area is adequately lighted and climate controlled. The incumbent might be required to move from one geographic location of the facility to another with occasional travel to the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) in South Carolina and Georgia. The work places no special physical demands on the employee. Work is typically performed in an office setting with regular visits to areas within the Medicine Service/Specialty Clinic areas, CBOCs and the Medical Center. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
