As Program Support Assistant (OA)-Time and Leave Clerk working with a variety of employees the incumbent must be able to make decisions related to time management, priorities of work to be accomplished, and methods of accomplished. Incumbent must be sensitive to the interpersonal relationships among the units and various services The incumbent researches the available guidelines and procedures for each specific program and independently applies criteria. The incumbent must be a good communicator, able to relay accurate and timely information The incumbent serves as the principal timekeeper and auditor for ADPCS which consists of approximately 765.5 authorized FTE, and approximately 44 Time and Attendance (T&A) Units throughout the service line Work Schedule:

Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-04 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
1) Use of data automation tools to input employee timekeeping data 2) Making decisions related time and attendance reporting 3) Tracking cost data and employee work hours OR Education:
Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have bachelors degree. OR Combination:
Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education beyond two years of college. . You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:
Administration and ManagementCommunication Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Note:
A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment. Physical Requirements:
The work is primarily sedentary with long periods of sitting at a desk, working with computers daily. Some work may require walking in offices and similar areas for meetings. Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite. The work does not require any special physical effort. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
